Whoopi Goldberg made her feelings known on this morning’s episode of The View. During a debate about Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and her controversial appearance on 60 Minutes, Goldberg reached her tipping point, tearing up her notes and closing out the discussion.

While the segment ended with a little drama, it began as many View chats do: with a news clip. After playing footage of Greene claiming Democrats “support grooming children” and “sexualizing children,” Goldberg asked her co-hosts if they agreed that 60 Minutes was helping to “legitimize her ridiculous rhetoric.”

Ana Navarro argued that “people are upset with 60 Minutes because it’s such a respected program [and] Lesley Stahl is such a respected journalist, and so people hold them up to a high level, and this is not the level that we expect of them.”

While Sara Haines said the show was “giving her a louder microphone than she deserves or has earned,” Sunny Hostin disagreed, saying she didn’t have any issues with Greene’s 60 Minutes interview because “she looked like an idiot.”

What Hostin did take issue with, however, was how Stahl conducted the interview. She told the panel, “I wanted statistics and push-backs … you know Lesley always got a book full of receipts. Where were they? Where were the receipts? They weren’t anywhere.”

Goldberg closed out the segment with her own take, cooly pointing out that Greene claims to be a “protector of children,” yet she “wants more guns in schools,” and reminding everyone that Greene once called for Nancy Pelosi to “be hung for treason.”

As she began to rattle off another point from the cue cards in her hands, she paused and stopped, telling viewers, “No, I’m not even going to say that, I’m not going to say it,” as she ripped the notes in half.

“We have people on these committees who have no brain power and the capacity to continue to ignore any facts or push-back. She doesn’t care if you push back on her,” Goldberg continued. “She’s one of those people who just is gonna do what she does. And you don’t have to watch it — I did not.”

After tearing up her notecards once more, Goldberg looked right in the camera and added, “So goodnight, Marjorie Taylor Greene.”

The View airs weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
