Just one day without a new episode of The View may feel like a lifetime — let alone a whole week. In case you haven’t noticed, ABC has been airing re-runs of the long-running daytime talk show in place of new episodes. Why? Well, we have the answers.

The last time we saw new content with Whoopi GoldbergSunny HostinSara HainesAna NavarroJoy Behar and Alyssa Farah Griffin was last Thursday (June 29). Goldberg was the star player of the episode as she put Justice Clarence Thomas on blast before playfully rapping along to Joy Ride star Sabrina Wu’s expert beatboxing.

Since then, the network has run a slew of archival episodes which include interviews with everyone from Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix to Sen. Amy Klobuchar.

So why hasn’t The View aired new episodes? And when will the co-hosts return to the Hot Topics table? Here’s everything we know:

The View is airing old episodes due to a scheduled hiatus, which began on Friday, June 30, and will last through the rest of this week.

When will The View air new episodes?

Fortunately, it won’t be long until the co-hosts are back in their regular spots. The View is set to return to live tapings on Monday, June 10.

What episode of The View will air today?

In case you’re curious, The View — which airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC — played interviews with reality star Ariana Madix and actor Michael J. Fox from the May 18 episode earlier this morning. And tomorrow (July 7), you can rewatch last week’s episode from when Ashley Park, Stephanie Hsu, Sherry Cola and Sabrina Wu — otherwise known as the cast of Joy Ride — stopped by to chat.
