Joy Behar Repeatedly Interrupts Alyssa Farah Griffin on ‘The View’ With Calls to Imprison Trump: “Lock Him Up!”

The View got rowdy yesterday as Joy Behar interrupted co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin with repeated calls to imprison former president Donald Trump. The heated moment took place during a chat about leaked audio that reveals Trump discussing classified docs, which he kept after leaving office in 2020.

“He’s already broken enough laws, whether there’s intent in trying to undermine our U.S. national security behind it,” Griffin said, as Sunny Hostin added, “Whats the ‘why?’ And you never have to prove the ‘why’ to prove this case. You don’t have to prove intent.”

After Hostin added, “Juries are going to want to know, why did he do it?” Behar answered for her, replying, “He’s a grifter!”

Griffin then predicted Trump would likely serve some significant time behind bars, telling the panel, “Short of this judge fundamentally screwing up the case, I don’t see how he gets less than five to 10 years,” but she didn’t get too far as Behar interrupted, “Lock him up, already, lock him up!”

Griffin was trying to continue, but had to pause as the audience cheered on Behar, who was only more inspired to continue her chant. She repeated, “Lock him up!” but Griffin carried on — or tried to, anyway.

“Enough, it’s enough!” Behar said, and only then had she really had enough herself. The co-host quieted down and allowed Griffin to finish her thought, but she visibly rolled her eyes as the conversation about Trump’s classified docs case continued.

And she wasn’t the only one feeling ticked off on yesterday’s show.

Whoopi Goldberg closed out the segment by saying she was “annoyed that [Trump] can continue to do this … he seems to be able to get away with everything, and it’s really starting to irritate me.”
