The View has entered week seven of the WGA strike, and it’s clear that the co-hosts are feeling the effects. During this morning’s episode of the daytime talk show, Whoopi Goldberg had a rough start to one of the panel’s Hot Topics segments when she hilariously mixed up her words.

When the show returned from the commercial break, Goldberg was still scrambling through her notes to introduce the next discussion.

“We don’t have writers, so I’m out of order,” she explained. “I write things down and then I don’t know because I don’t number them. So I don’t know what actually is supposed to come next.”

With some assistance from Sara Haines, the longtime moderator was able to find the topic. And when things were finally sorted out, Goldberg happily re-greeted the audience.

“Welcome back. A poll—,” she began as she was suddenly cut off by her own burp. “Oh, excuse me.”

Despite the bodily interruption, Goldberg, who has been accused of passing gas on the show before, forged on.

“A poll of 2,000 adults in the U.K. found that when people travel, cuisine is more important to them than landmarks or bitches,” she said, before quickly correcting herself. “Beaches!”

After Goldberg’s snafu, the rest of the panel immediately burst into laughter while she looked around the room at a loss for words. Even executive producer Brian Teta cracked a smile at her mistake.

“I’m sorry. It says beaches,” she finally said, turning to the audience. “This is y’all’s fault! And I can’t even tell you why it’s their fault but we were talking about something else [during the commercial break].”

Shifting back to the subject at hand, Goldberg asked, “But do you agree? Is it about the food?” However, co-host Ana Navarro wasn’t going to let her friend off that easy.

“I will travel anywhere for a good bitch,” she quipped, to which Goldberg sarcastically exclaimed, “Thanks!”

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
