‘The Lincoln Lawyer’
Netflix’s new series The Lincoln Lawyer has the old-school charm of a classic network procedural, which makes perfect sense considering it was originally developed by CBS. Created by David E. Kelley and based on Michael Connelly’s 2008 novel The Brass Verdict, the series follows Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), an iconoclastic lawyer who famously runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln. A drug rehabilitated idealist with two ex-wives, Mickey is forced to take over his former law partner’s firm, which includes a high-profile murder trial. Also starring Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, and Angus Sampson, The Lincoln Lawyer is a must-stream series for fans of shows like Bosch, The Closer, The Practice, and Boston Legal.
