It’s hard to believe that 2023 is already half over.
It’s been a great year so far for TV shows and movies, and as a result a great year for watching those shows and thinking, wow, I love that [t-shirt/handbag/piece of jewelry] and wish I could also have one.
As Decider’s commerce and shopping reporter, part of my job is to find those pieces that people are talking about and then let you, our readers, know where to get it for yourself.
So, I thought what better way to look back on the first half of 2023 than to do it with all of the best products from the year’s best shows… so far.
From new releases like The Bear to buzzy all-time greats like Succession, and the prestige drama we started the year off with in The Last of Us, here are 10 of the best products we’ve spotted in TV shows from January to June of 2023.
AFC Richmond’s formidable majority owner Rebecca Welton (Hannah Waddingham) has great style, but nothing caught our eye quite like her Staud Moon Bag, which made one appearance in Season 2 before a recurring role as Rebecca’s go-to handbag in Season 3.
Cousin goes on quite the journey during Season 2 of The Bear, but before any of that happens we see him in a variation of The Beef’s uniform tee with a printing mistake, or as he calls it, a “collector’s item.”
We’re throwing it all the way back to January with this pick. Even if you don’t need to fight off a zombie apocalypse and look good while doing it and just want a nice jacket to keep you warm in the winter, this trucker jacket is the one Joel (Pedro Pascal) wore throughout the first season of The Last of Us. After a period of time where it was sold out thanks to the show’s popularity, it’s back in stock in all sizes.
When a trailer for the third season of The Kardashians dropped, fans were quick to notice a T-shirt Kim wore that doubled as a subtle dig at her younger sister, Kendall, and her starting roster’s worth of NBA ex-boyfriends.
This year, Hallmark Channel’s Easter Sunday movie was inspired by Made As Intended’s Blessing Bracelet, and the product was even showcased and used in the movie. You can get your very own in a few different colors on Made As Intended’s Amazon storefront.
When Coach Lasso wasn’t decked out in AFC Richmond gear, the gaffer was more likely than not wearing a pocket crewneck from Todd Snyder + Champion. It appeared all over Season 3, from a rust red variant at Ola’s to a burnt orange during a transformative night out in Amsterdam, and the navy blue one seen above in the episode “Mom City.”
These carry on bags may not be ludicrously capacious, but they are Roy family approved. Carl Friedrik’s carry on bag is durable but lightweight and will keep all of your valuables safe when you’re jetting to the Hamptons, the Gojo staff retreat, Argestes, or wherever your travels take you.
If there’s one thing it was safe to bet on with any episode of Succession, it was that Kendall Roy would be wearing a logoless black baseball cap. Call it his version of corporate chic. The actual cap featured in the show costs over $600, to no one’s surprise, but these similar styles are affordable ways to get the look:
Though Midge’s Tupperware party happened on Season 4 and not the more recent season 5, the brand only released Maisel-inspired Heritage Collection container sets this year. We love these for adding a pop of retro color to our kitchens.
Carrie Bradshaw, fashion icon for the ages, was seen carrying this… statement purse in a recent episode of the Sex & The City sequel series. Designer Molly Rogers told Page Six that SJP “killed that scene — she worked it. Putting it on her head, taking a piece of gum out of it … that wasn’t scripted!”
