London Kills: Season 4 Premiere (Released July 10) *Acorn TV Original

This month sees the highly-anticipated return of British police procedural London Kills for its fourth season. The Acorn TV Original series revolves around an elite murder investigation squad in London led by Detective Inspector David Bradford (Hugo Speer), who is tormented by his own personal devastating mystery in the wake of the sudden disappearance of his wife. Season 4 is set to kick off with a bang as senior Detective Constable Rob Brady (Bailey Patrick) wakes up in his car next to a dead body, landing him an arrest on suspicion of murder. David, Detective Sergeant Vivienne Cole (Sharon Small), and the rest of the ace team must work to clear his name while also fighting demons of their own.

The Best of Us: Series Premiere *Acorn TV Exclusive

Another thing to look out for on Acorn TV in July is the exclusive premiere of this French-language crime thriller miniseries. The Best of Us (otherwise known by its French title, Le meilleur d’entre nous) begins with brilliant local star athlete Abel Guérin (Loyan Pons de Vier) is found dead on the training field, throwing his whole village into a state of shock and mourning. When Awa Sissako (Mariama Gueye), a young police captain from the city, is dispatched to help local lieutenant Achille Salvi (Nicolas Gob) on the case, she must quickly get to the bottom of what really happened to Abel before the World Cup comes to town.
