Move over, The Walking Dead. Netflix just released the trailer for a reality show that is dead-set on putting its contestants to the ultimate test: surviving a zombie apocalypse. Zombieverse takes place in Seoul, Korea, where “multiple patients are being reported of an unknown infection” and “appear to be showing unusual, violent symptoms.”

After a montage of clips of the flesh-eating zombies taking over the streets of the city, the trailer fast-tracks through snippets of contestants embodying a survivalist mentality through a series of challenges: dashing through grocery stores, dodging explosions, riding a tilt-a-whirl in which the flesh-eating species is present, screaming at each other, and debating the cost of saving a friend when there are zombies on the loose.

“What should we do?,” someone exclaims. “Where should we go?”

The wild trailer ultimately ends with someone uttering the question, “Why are there so many zombies?”

Netflix shared the trailer via Twitter on Sunday (July 9), prompting viewers to consider if they would be able to survive a zombie apocalypse, and if so, to prove it.

According to Collider, the show’s contestant line-up will feature some South Korean stars, including comedian Park Na-rae, rapper DinDin, former KBO league baseball pitcher Yoo Hee-kwan, and reality show Single’s Inferno 2 star Kim Jin-young. Them and their fellow contestants, or “survivors,” must unite to search for survival essentials (food, water, shelter, etc.) and avoid being “bitten” at all costs. Once a contestant is caught by a zombie, they are disqualified. Park Jin-kyung, creator of the popular Korean TV series My Little Television, is producing the show alongside Moon Sang-don.

The show, which is part of Netflix’s expanding international library of content, is a Korean language program.

Deadline noted that this is not the first attempt at a show of this nature. The U.K’s BBC Three’s miniseries I Survived a Zombie Apocalypse aired seven episodes in 2015. Hopefully this new series has a will to survive that rivals that of its contestants and the undead that have set out after them.

Check out the trailer above and tune in to Netflix on August 8 (if you dare) for the debut of Zombieverse.
