When Will ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’ Be on Paramount+? How to Watch the DND Movie

Directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, aka the guys who directed Game Night, and co-written by Goldstein, Daley, and Michael Gilio, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is the movie so many DND fans have been waiting for. Based on the popular tabletop role-playing, the DND movie stars Chris Pine as Edgin Darvis, a lowly bard on a quest to find a better life for himself and his daughter, following the death of his wife. Like any good DND adventure, he has a team of companions, including a barbarian named Holga (Michelle Rodriguez), a paladin named Xenk (Rege-Jean Page), and a half-elf sorcerer named Simon (Justice Smith). Together, the team embarks on a quest to best the con-man rogue known as Forge Fitzwilliam (Hugh Grant).

The movie was well-liked by critics and nerds alike, and now you can watch the DND movie at home. But when will Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves be on Paramount+? Here’s what we know.

Is the DND movie on streaming?

Yes! As of today, May 2, Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is now available on premium video-on-demand. That means you can now buy or rent the DND movie on digital platforms like Amazon Prime, Vudu, Google Play, and more. The price may vary depending on which platform you use to purchase the film, but on Amazon Prime, Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves costs $19.99 for a 48-hour rental, or $24.99 to buy.

Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves will also arrive on 4K Ultra HD SteelBook^™, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray^™, and DVD on May 30.

Is DND: Honor Among Thieves movie on Paramount Plus?

No, not yet. Right now, the only way to watch Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves at home is to buy or rent the film on a digital platform. However, because this is a Paramount movie, we do expect to see the DND movie streaming free on Paramount+ eventually.

Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves Paramount Plus release date:

The short answer? We don’t yet know. That said, we can make an educated guess, based on previous Paramount movie releases on Paramount+. The most recent previous Paramount release, Scream 6, was released simultaneously on video-on-demand and on Paramount+, after 45 days in theaters, which has more or less become the new standard theatrical window after the COVID-19 pandemic. If Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves follows the same strategy, it will be on Paramount+ on May 15 or 16, which is about 45 days after it opened in theaters on March 31.

But obviously, Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is following a slightly different release pattern than Scream, given that it became available on digital on-demand after just 35 days in theaters, but is not yet available on Paramount+. It’s possible Paramount wants to give the movie a week or so of digital sales, and will still release the DND movie on Paramount+ in mid-May, around May 15 or 16.

We do know that Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves will release on DVD on May 30, so perhaps Paramount will hold off on the Paramount+ release until then. But we have a feeling that you’ll likely see the DND movie on Paramount+ before the end of the month. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see.
