We’re about to get our first look at a player many NBA insiders believe to be a generational talent: Victor Wembanyama.

Taken by the San Antonio Spurs with the first pick of the 2023 NBA Draft, the buzzy French prospect will make his NBA Las Vegas Summer League debut on Friday, July 7 when the Spurs battle the Charlotte Hornets on ESPN. It’ll actually be a battle between the top two picks of the draft since Alabama standout Brandon Miller was selected second overall by the Hornets.

Wembanyama’s hotly anticipated debut headlines a full night of Summer League action on ESPN, with the Portland Trail Blazers and Houston Rockets kicking things off at 7:00 p.m. ET and the Warriors/Lakers game scheduled to begin at 11:00 p.m. ET.
