Roseanne Barr’s First Stand-Up Special in 16 Years Is Coming To FOX Nation In Early 2023

Roseanne Barr is joining FOX Nation for what will be her first stand-up special in 16 years with A Roseanne Comedy Special.

The one-hour special, which will air on FOX News Media’s streaming service, will feature Barr’s “signature comedic take” on a slew of topics, “with no subject off limits,” adding to the platform’s growing catalog of exclusive content, including Duck Family Treasure, Sharon Osbourne: To Hell & Back, and Yellowstone: One Fifty, a four-part docuseries about the history and wildlife of Yellowstone National Park, narrated by Kevin Costner.

“Roseanne is a comedy icon whose humor connects with the American audience like no other,” Jason Klarman, president of the streaming service, said in a press release provided to Decider. “Her ability to channel the challenges of everyday people and find the humor in it all has earned her the passionate following of millions of dedicated fans.”

He continued, “We are thrilled to add her comedy special exclusively to the FOX Nation catalog.”

Previously, Barr helmed the ABC sitcom, Roseannewhich ran from 1988 to 1997 before coming back for a brief stint in 2018. The show went on to win four Emmy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, and a Peabody Award. While there is no official release date for A Roseanne Comedy Special, it was announced that it will drop on FOX Nation in early 2023.
