‘RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars’ Exclusive: The Top Four Hash Out a Shocking Elimination in Exclusive First Look At Episode 9

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8 is racing towards its finale and the competition is hotter than ever. After one wild ride of a season, complete with an unexpected walk-out and a show-stopping intervention, there are only four queens left standing: Jimbo, Jessica Wild, Kandy Muse, and Alexis Michelle. We have a top four, and you better believe the queens are celebrating in the first act of this week’s all-new episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars on Paramount+.

In the clip above, seen exclusively here at Decider, the queens take a big sigh of relief after last week’s design challenge. But before they can get too comfortable, there are some old scores to settle — and Jimbo has the stick with which to stir the pot. Jimbo asks Alexis the question that the entire internet has been screaming about all week: “I thought you told LaLa you weren’t going to send her home?” You can’t see Jimbo’s face under that facekini, but you just know she is going full cheshire cat.

To sum up the issue — LaLa Ri chose to save Alexis Michelle two weeks ago instead of saving her close friend Kahanna Montrese. Ever grateful, Alexis seemed to make it very clear that she would pay LaLa back should their positions ever be reversed. Their positions were immediately reversed… and Alexis chose to eliminate LaLa and save Kandy Muse. Wow. What a look, Alexis!

How does Alexis talk her way out of this seemingly clearcut example of breaking an alliance? “I didn’t promise,” says Alexis, who should really consider running for office. “I just told her that I would never forget what she did for me, and I never will.” Amazing.

As if that wasn’t epic enough of a response, Alexis looks right at Kandy Muse and utters one of the least subtle sentences in Drag Race herstory: “You told me what you told me and you know what you told me and you know I know what that means.”

As the clip recaps, Kandy low-key made a quasi-alliance with Alexis during last week’s Untucked to help secure her spot in the competition. And while reality TV alliances are generally meant to be secret, Jessica and Jimbo are now 100% sure that Alexis thinks she has an alliance with Kandy. Kandy, however, fully admits that she just said that to stay in the competition. Also remember last week when Kandy said she simply forgot about the note that Alexis passed her weeks ago, the one asking for an alliance? Every bit of this is magic.

We haven’t even touched upon this week’s challenge, which is a roast of judge Carson Kressley. Considering how wild Alexis’ Season 9 roast of Michelle Visage was, this episode could be an Alexis Michelle tour de force. We sincerely love to see it!
