Paramount+ is cleaning house with a new slate of television shows and movies set to be removed from the streaming platform.

Inside Amy Schumer, Fantasy Football and Snow Day will be deleted along with multiple docuseries and 16 Nickelodeon titles, Deadline reports. The controversial move comes after the streaming platform announced last week that it would be canceling and removing four other series ā€” The GameStar Trek: ProdigyQueen of the Universe and Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies ā€” ahead of its new, merged streaming service with Showtime, which launched today.

A statement from a spokesperson for the company claimed the platform was “refining” its content had and deleted the four series in order to “optimize Showtimeā€™s robust slate of premium originals,ā€ per Deadline.

Among the titles removed from Paramount+ include the docuseries From Cradle to Stage by musician Dave Grohl, Ghislane: Partner in Crime, and the anthology series Tell Me A Story. Various Nickelodeon titles will also be removed from the platform, including Monsters vs. Aliens, The Halo Effect, and Legendary Dudas, as part of its monthly changing of content, an inside source told Decider.

Paramount+ is following in the footsteps of Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery by completely removing titles from its libraries for tax write-offs. Disney reportedly earned $1.5 billion after doing the same.

Annabel Oakes, who created Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, called the decision “a particularly brutal move” and pointed out that it could result in a “complete erasure” of her show.

“In a particularly brutal move, [Rise of the Pink Ladies] is also being removed from @paramountplus next and unless it finds a new home you will no longer be able to watch it anywhere,” she said on an Instagram Story, per The Hollywood Reporter.

CBS Studios will have the option to shop around The Game and Star Trek: Prodigy after their cancellations, but not all of the scrapped programs leaving the platform will have the same opportunity.

This article was updated to clarify the Nickelodeon titles were removed as part of the monthly changes to the platform.
