New Movies & Shows To Stream This Weekend: And Just Like That…, The Bear, The Perfect Find + More

It’s a gamble, bringing back a show as beloved as Sex and the City, but in the second season of Max’s And Just Like That…, Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbs, Charlotts York Goldenblatt and Co. are giving us exactly what we want: even more of that luxe dysfunction that comes with being one of the core members of their friend group. Meanwhile, in the Second City, a new season of Hulu’s The Bear is launching, and with is comes all the stress, all the heart, and all the recipe testing you could want in a second season. And on Netflix, Gabrielle Union stars as a woman in love with a much younger man, who happens to be her boss’s son, in The Perfect Find.

New on Max June 22: And Just Like That… (Season 2)

Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) spent the whole first season of And Just Like That… reeling from the death of her husband, John “Mr. Big” Preston (Chris Noth). Season 2 sees Carrie ready to move on and embrace all the sex that the city has to offer once again. Season 2 also promises the return of Aidan (John Corbett) and Samantha (Kim Cattrall) – yay! It also features the return of everything that made the first season such a mixed bag – and yet, we can’t wait for it. New episodes of And Just Like That… will air weekly on Thursdays on Max.

New on Hulu June 22: The Bear (Season 2)

The first season of The Bear was such an unexpected, delightful mix of comedy and pathos that we were all crying into our Italian beef sandwiches by the end of it. The season ended on such a satisfying note that many fans wondered how season two could advance the plot. Is Uncle Cicero (Oliver Platt) gonna come for Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) now that Carmy’s found all that money hidden in the tomatoes or what?! And now, Hulu has dropped all ten new episodes of the new season this week so we can find out what happens to Carmy, Cousin Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), and Sydney (Ayo Edibiri) and their beloved Original Beef of Chicagoland.

New on Netflix June 23: The Perfect Find

Gabrielle Union stars in this charming Netflix rom-com about a 40-something woman who falls for a sexy younger man named Eric, played by Keith Powers. Lest you think this is just a story about a woman getting her groove back, the plot is much more complicated than that: Eric, it turns out, is the son of Jenna’s boss and frenemy, Darcy (Gina Torres), and the pair have to not only work together, but try to be… unattracted to one another to keep it profesh.
