Paramount Network may not be able to deliver new episodes of Yellowstone, but they’re giving fans of the Western saga something new to watch on Sunday nights: 1883.

From the mind of Taylor Sheridan, Paramount+’s Yellowstone prequel is a stark retelling of Western expansion. Per Paramount, 1883 follows the Dutton family as they embark on a journey west through the Great Plains as they seek a better future in America’s promised land: Montana. Featuring an all-star cast that includes Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, LaMonica Garrett (and cameos from Billy Bob Thornton and Tom Hanks), the show, which originally premiered in December of 2021 on Paramount+, is now airing weekly on Paramount Network.
