When Will The Super Mario Bros. Movie Be On Peacock?

*** UPDATE (7/6/23): It’s official! The Super Mario Bros. Movie premieres Thursday, August 3 on Peacock. ***

Per Comicbook.com, a new commercial airing on Peacock notes that The Super Mario Bros. Movie is “coming soon” to the platform. No official release date has been announced, but based on recent Universal Pictures films debuting on Peacock, we can make an estimate as to when the movie might drop on the streamer.

Past films have made their way to Peacock in under 60 days (Cocaine Bear, 49 days and Renfield, 56 days), while Nope took 119 days to drop on the service. The Super Mario Bros. Movie was released on April 5, 2023 (85 days from today, June 29). Since the commercial notes that the film is “coming soon,” we suspect the movie will drop on the streamer in July of 2023.

We’ll update this story when an official release date is announced, but if you (or your kids) are interested in watching Mario, Luigi and Donkey Kong (too) all summer long, you can subscribe to Peacock for as little as $4.99/month. Until then, be sure to fire up Jack Black singing “Peaches” on repeat!
