The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 is back and there may be a new bad guy in town: Henry Dahl.

Season 2, Part 1 of the popular legal drama shows Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia‑Rulfo) falling for a hot chef named Lisa Trammell (Lana Parrilla), then serving as her defense attorney when she’s accused of murdering wealthy real estate developer Mitchell Bondurant (Clint Carmichael). Mickey advises her to stay quiet and draw as little attention to her former feud with Bondurant as possible, but her so-called friend — a persistent, money-hungry podcaster named Henry Dahl — keeps getting in the way and putting her case in jeopardy.

On one hand, after Lisa is arrested, Henry puts up the bond money needed to get her out of jail. On the other hand, he immediately wants to turn her story into a podcast with no concern for how it could negatively impact her case. Mickey is suspicious of Henry from the start, telling Lisa he knows a conman when he sees one, but she insists Henry means well and is just trying to help her make some money off of her story.

In Season 2, Episode 5, Izzy (Jazz Raycole) shows Mickey a new Henry Dahl podcast, Gentrify And Die, which explores Lisa’s case and features damning audio clips from her old interviews. Mickey lets Lisa know she messed up by green-lighting the project and questions Henry’s character again. Then, he reminds Henry he’s responsible for Lisa’s life rights and doesn’t approve of any projects until after the trial is over. Near the end of the episode, Mickey learns that Dahl plans to turn Lisa’s case into a limited series, so he scrambles to find the document where Lisa signed over her life rights, and it’s missing. Not only that, but Mickey is mysteriously attacked in the parking garage!

So is Henry to blame? We’re not sure about the attack, but who else would steal that document?!

The 32-year-old actor, writer, and director kickstarted his on-screen career in 1996 as a trick-or-treater on an episode of Goosebumps (iconic) and has appeared in a number of popular TV series and movies over the years, including The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Big Time Rush, CSI: Miami, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, S.W.A.T, NCIS, Dave, and more.
