Kim Cattrall is stirring up some drama. The actor replied to a cheeky tweet about the Sex and the City movie that never got made — allegedly because of her own demands.

The Glamorous star shared a tweet from writer Evan Ross Katz, which showed a photo of Shakira wearing a bold, white dress that says, “NO.” Katz captioned the photo, “Kim Cattrall after reading the SEX AND THE CITY 3 script.”

Cattrall replied to the tweet with a simple, yet surprising, “Ha!!!”

Previous reports alleged Cattrall refused to return to the franchise for the third installment unless her “demands” were met, including having Warner Bros. agree to make other films she had in development first. “The only reason this movie isn’t being made is because of Kim Cattrall,” a source told The Daily Mail in 2017. “Everyone was looking forward to making this movie but Kim made it all about her, always playing the victim.”

Cattrall later shut down the rumors in an interview with Piers Morgan.

While she certainly won’t be returning for a third Sex and the City film, the actress has instead reprised her iconic role for a brief cameo in the Max revival, And Just Like That. Her special appearance, which will occur at the end of the current season, will show her speaking to Sarah Jessica Parker‘s character, Carrie Bradshaw, over the phone.

Her cameo came as a surprise to fans, as Cattrall had previously said she was “never” asked to be part of the series when it was being developed.

“I made my feelings clear after the possible third movie, so I found out about it like everyone else did — on social media,” she said last year in an interview with Variety.

She reportedly filmed her And Just Like That cameo alone, without running into any of her Sex and the City co-stars or showrunner Michael Patrick King.

Though Samantha Jones and her raunchy jokes have been sorely missed by viewers, her cameo will likely be a “one time thing” to celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary, according to her co-star Cynthia Nixon.

New episodes of And Just Like That air on Thursdays on Max.
