Red Alert ‘Once Upon A Time’ Fans: Lana Parrilla Plays a Hot Chef in ‘Lincoln Lawyer’ Season 2

Calling all Once Upon A Time fans! This is not a drill! Lana Parrilla, aka the Evil Queen/Regina Mills , is playing a hot chef on The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2, and you won’t want to miss a moment of her unpredictable storyline.

Parrilla was introduced as chef Lisa Trammell, a restaurant owner who sets her sights on LA’s hottest defense attorney Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia‑Rulfo) and quickly charms him with her delicious food. After dinner, some serious flirting, and a tour of the restaurant, Lisa invites Mickey back to her apartment in the Season 2 premiere, and though the two go their separate ways in the morning, we certainly haven’t seen the last of her.

At the start of Season 2, Chef Lisa seems like a sweet, no strings attached, drama-free hookup for Mickey. But by the end of the second episode, Lisa calls Mickey in a panic and says she’s been arrested for the murder of wealthy real estate developer Mitchell Bondurant (Clint Carmichael). Uh oh! The bulk of Season 2, Part 1 (and likely Season 2, Part 2) focuses on Haller’s fight to clear her name. But with a hammer — presumed to be a murder weapon — mysteriously missing from her toolkit and a pair of her gardening gloves testing positive for Bondurant’s blood, Trammell’s case isn’t looking too good at the end of Season 2’s first half.

Despite the evidence, Lisa Trammell still swears she didn’t kill Mitchell Bondurant, so she’s innocent until proven guilty! And though we want to believe Trammell isn’t going to rip Mickey’s heart out of his chest, like Parrilla’s Once Upon A Time character would, we DID watch a guilty person claim innocence in Season 1, so we don’t blame Mickey for having trust issues.

As noted, Lana Parrilla plays Chef Lisa Trammell on The Lincoln Lawyer. And there’s a good chance the 45-year-old actor looks familiar because of her 156-episode-long role on Once Upon A Time. Parrilla kickstarted her on-screen career in 1999 and has starred in a number of popular TV shows and movies over the years, so if you don’t recognize her from the fantasy series, you may know her from roles in Spin City, Boomtown, 24, Windfall, LOST, Swingtown, Miami Medical, or Why Women Kill. Per her IMDb bio, Parrilla’s late father, Sam Parrilla, “was a Puerto Rico-born baseball player who played professionally for 11 seasons, including one season with the Major League Philadelphia Phillies in 1970 as an outfielder.”
